Frequently Asked Questions
During your office cleaning appointment JCAPM will see to it the following items to be addressed:
- Mop and dry all floors
- Sweeping & vacuum all general areas (offices)
- Kitchen sinks are scrubbed disinfected & shined
- All countertops are cleaned and disinfected
- Refrigerator exterior is wiped down
- The inside and outside of your microwave is cleaned and disinfected
- Table and chairs are cleaned
- All Bathrooms are clean and disinfected
- All mirrors inside bathrooms are cleaned and shined
- Sanitize all telephones
- All trash cans are emptied
- Dust all horizontal surfaces
- Dust all office desk and furniture
- Clean all glass doors and windows as needed
During your Standard House Cleaning appointment with JCAPM you can expect for the following actions to be taken:
Living Areas & Bedrooms:
- All of your carpeting and rugs are vacuumed
- Vacuum, mop and dry all hard floor surfaces
- Flat surface areas are dusted with a damp cloth
- We mop and dry wood floors
- Dust all your furniture and knickknacks
- Your linens are changed if requested
- Your beds are made
- Dusting is done in all areas
- Cleaning inside windows, seals, and blinds
- All ceiling fans cleaned
- All baseboards are wiped down
Bathrooms:
- Your bathtubs and tile walls are cleaned and disinfected
- Shower, shower doors, and walls are cleaned and disinfected
- All mirrors are cleaned and shined
- The sinks and countertops are cleaned and disinfected
- Hard floors are mopped and dried
- Bathroom carpeting and rugs are vacuumed
- Your toilet is clean and disinfected
- All fixtures are disinfected, cleaned and shined
- We wipe down outside your cabinets, drawers and cabinet faces
- General dusting in all areas
Kitchen:
- Your kitchen sinks are scrubbed, disinfected and shined
- All countertop appliances are cleaned
- Your refrigerator interior & exterior cleaned and wiped down
- Your oven interior and exterior cleaned and wiped down
- Kitchen countertops are cleaned and disinfected
- The outside of your cabinets and cabinet faces and doors are wiped down
- The exterior of large appliances are cleaned
- Your table and chairs are cleaned
- Your carpet and rugs are vacuumed
- Your trash is emptied
- Dust crown molding
- Wipe Blinds
- Baseboards
- Deep Dusting: Ceiling Fans / Vents / Cobwebs / Above Door Frames / Above Cabinetry
- Wipe Cabinets
- Clean Doors, Door Frames, Light Switches
- Microfiber dusting, wiping of decor, lighting fixtures, etc
- Polish wood floors, deep strubbing of tiles, vacuuming along baseboards
- Kitchen Appliances: Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, fridge
- Closets/Pantry
During your move in/move out cleaning appointment with JCAPM you can expect the following areas to be addressed:
Top to Bottom cleaning:
- Vacuum, mop and dry all hard floor surfaces
- All ceiling fans cleaned
- Cleaning inside windows, seal and blinds
- All baseboards are wiped down
- Spot clean doors and frames
- Cobwebs removed
- Dusting is done in all areas
Bathrooms:
- Your bathtubs and tile walls are cleaned and disinfected
- Shower, shower doors and walls are cleaned and disinfected
- All mirrors are cleaned and shined
- The sinks and countertops are cleaned and disinfected
- Your toilet is clean and disinfected
- All fixtures are disinfected, cleaned and shined
- We wipe down inside and outside your cabinets, drawers and cabinet faces
- General dusting in all areas
Kitchen:
- Your kitchen sinks are scrubbed, disinfected and shined
- All countertop appliances are cleaned
- Your refrigerator interior & exterior cleaned and wiped down
- Your oven and microwave interior and exterior cleaned and wiped down
- Kitchen countertops are cleaned and disinfected
- The outside and inside of your cabinets and cabinet faces and doors are wiped down
- Your trash is emptied
Yes! We have full liability insurance.
No. We are a small local business based out of Bridgewater, NJ. We do service multiple regions in the surrounding areas.
The most helpful thing you can do is put everything in its proper place and reduce the clutter. Please try to have a dish free sink as well. We aim to do everything efficiently and cannot do so if we spend our time de-cluttering. De-cluttering and organizing is something we can certainly assist with, however, this would be a separate service.
Although the same person may not be available for your cleaning appointment, all JEM Cleaning technicians are all trained to follow our post cleaning inspection form.
We are a pet-friendly organization, however, you know your pet better than we do. Please use your judgment to keep our staff and your pet safe from any harm.
We typically provide the products. If you have a preference of cleaning products for us to use, please have all products in a tote ready for us to use opon our arrival.
We are currently not a “green cleaning” company. We have made efforts to reduce the amount of harsh chemicals we use. If there are products you prefer we use any products you provide.
There is not a fee for any cancellations 24 hours prior to the appointment.
Yes, the minimum cleaning charge is $75.
Many times our cleaning technicians are coming from another job that may take longer than expected to complete and the logistics may also play a role.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your appointment we ask you to notify us within 24 hours of completion of your appointment. We will return at a time/date is convenient for you to address the issue.
